I took a couple of days off to just be present with the Holiday - TopicsExpress

I took a couple of days off to just be present with the Holiday Spirit. It was quiet and among friends. I hope many of you have had a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones. For many today its a digestive time - from all the consumed drinks, food, festivities and events. For others its still the second leg of Christmas celebrations, as extended families call forth for one to compromise and distribute celebrations. I find it interesting that for both Thanksgiving and Christmas, big holidays that involve family and friends coming together, the Moon was in Aquarius. For many these holidays are stressful, as old buttons are pushed and old grievances come to surface. Aquarius Moon invites us to be open to other perspectives and thinking outside the box. Then, right after these big feast celebrations, the Moon enters Pisces and we are invited to learn compassion, and for many also, want to escape via our imagination, or via the pleasures of the body (food and drink). Today it is no different. The Moon is waxing in her Crescent phase. Dreams planted during the Winter Solstice are now having their roots take more ground and the seed has definitely broken through its shell and is spreading its tendrils. Nevertheless, the Moon is in Pisces and we are still in the midst of our festivities. One way to honor this Moon is by inviting our imagination to play. For those who like to make a vision board for their new year, or to start thinking about what is their word-theme for next year, today is a good time to take some time aside and to think about what one wants to bring forth in 2015. Pisces invites us to go inward and to recapture the hidden recesses of our imagination. During this Holiday season, what images and synchronicities kept popping up for you? What dreams have you had that seem to be pointing towards new frontiers that you need to explore. Use the energy of the Waxing Crescent Moon in Pisces to write down on your journal or draw/paint what you want to bring forth in 2015. You may not do the vision board today, but its a good time to start thinking about what do you want to put on it. If you can today is a good day to do some awakening escape into your imagination. Watch an inspiring movie, have a soulful conversation with a loved one, go to bed early and try to remember your dreams. Its a day to digest all that has led up to Christmas and what transpired. What you can IMAGINE, can become REALITY. Use it wisely.
