I took my children out today and as we were riding, talking, and laughing, my daughters countenance changes right before my eyes. I kept looking at her because I know that look. She was hearing God. I said, What is it? What did the Lord tell you? She looked back at me and said, Mom, you are going to direct a movie. I saw you direct a movie about a pastor who was fighting to do Gods will. She said, This movie is going to show the struggles with family, money, and members but in the end its going to show that the pastor is going to have the victory and overcome with the help of God. My mouth fell open! I write plays and am actually writing one for our Christmas play, but it had never crossed my mind to direct a movie. I thanked her for the word and then I began asking the Lord, How? Of course one thinks of all the things needed to complete an assignment like that, but the Lord gave me the assurance that when the time came, I would have everything I needed, including the cast and the locations. We say that prophecy is never anything new, but I beg to differ. God always has new things on His mind and when He speaks to one of His to make them aware of this new thing, no matter how colossal the assignment may seem, He will give provision for the vision. I have trained my daughter to hear God and I always encourage her to share what shes hearing so that I can judge it for her. When I tell her it was her flesh, she repents and is okay with that. But when I tell her that she is indeed hearing God, she smiles. She knows that there is a difference between hearing God and speaking our own flesh and she can handle the correction when she is in error. After I thanked her for allowing the Lord to speak to me through her, she said, No problem. And the Lord said that you are the pastor in the movie and that He wants you to know that He is going to bring you all the way out! Now that was enough to make me drive off the road!! To God be the glory! When you settle your mind to do His will, He will step in to where you are and let you know that He is taking care of those things that needs adjusting. What an awesome God!!! Pray my strength. Apparently I will be directing a movie one day and I will be working off of a Jesus budget for sure!!!
