I want to build bridges between people of faith and non-believers. I believe the Ideal of do unto others is a universal concept that transcends religious barriers into the ideals of Humanitarianism. I believe we can move forward together towards our common goals with respect for each others free-will to move through this life as we each see fit. This is passenger commentary from one of my favorite passengers, though she did not agree with everything I had to say, I agree with everything she had to say to me. ~jh. I hate to disagree, but atheism is not the enemy of unseen possibilities. Atheists are always open to new information based on facts. Atheists are the enemy of religious beliefs being taught as science. Atheists are the enemy of religious beliefs being used to make laws depriving others of their civil right to marry and to keep a job. Atheists are the enemy of religious beliefs being used to deprive others of birth control. Atheists believe in religious freedoms for everyone, not just for christians. Atheists believe in the constitution and separation of church and state. Christian extremists are busy making laws that are unconstitutional. They are making state religion, making it against the law for an atheist to hold office and banning books. The bad apples are busy making their beliefs into laws. Until the rest of the christians stand up to the extremists their silence is considered consent. Instead of telling atheists we need to just get along, please tell christians to join the atheists in fighting the extremists in protecting our constitution and civil rights, before they are gone for all of us. ~Janice McIntyre
