I want to take this time to recognize and thank a very special group of people. As most of you know, I have made a few trips to Dallas due to some health issues and you also know that I am on disability which means I have a very limited income. These trips to Dallas were expensive and made it difficult to take care of other things that needed to be taken care of financially. There is a small group of people that go to Moonlight Karaoke, which is located downtown across from the old newspaper office. Moonlight Karaoke is operated by donations from the patrons that go there and by what they sell in the small kitchen. When they found out about my financial situation and how many trips I had to make to Dallas, Ann Foreman suggested they take up a donation to help out one Friday night and they did but then they took up more on Saturday night. This helped so much with gas and food for the trip down there and back. Now I cant remember everyones last name, I have trouble remember my name at times but they know who they are. Rodney supplied a full tank of gas, some of the others that donated were Tom, Teresa and Adam, Jerry, Luther, Kristi, Debbie, Meredith, James and Bonnie, and others, but no one told me who they were. Mind you these people are also on fixed incomes and that makes it even more special to me. They have also been praying for me each night during karaoke. I want to thank each of you from the bottom of my heart and just let you all know how much I love you all! Please know that if I didnt mention your name it is only because Im very forgetful but I appreciate and love all of you! I am truly blessed with some wonderful people in my life. I was asked what I wanted for my birthday and I couldnt think of a thing, except maybe my health back, because I have a wonderful family and amazing friends not just at Moonlight but all around me. Who could want or ask for more! Thank you and God bless each and everyone of you! I hope someday I am able to repay all of you for your kindness!
