I want to thank everyone for the birthday wishes, it touched my heart deeply. At my very advanced age I am allowed to reflect. How did 72 years go so fast. I never thought I would make it this far, but here I am. I received many comments and am thankful for each one, but one said he hated it that I was younger then he was. My wife hates it even more as she is much older. I am a proud graduate of the class of 1960 at PHS. My life took a major turn around in December of 1971 when I said okay, God, if you are real, I am ready to give you a try. Within a week a gentleman by the name of Jim Wheeler called and invited us to a bible study. What a wonderful journey it has been. God showed me grace and mercy when I didnt deserve it and loved me so much that he sent His Son to die a horrible death on a cross that I may spend eternity with Him. We continue in a bible study and I am in a share group with four other men and we keep each other accountable. What did I do to deserve such a wonderful life? It is nothing I have done, it is what God has done in my life. So thankful for the family he has given myself and Nancy. We just had a new great granddaughter on Wednesday. Just another blessing.
