I wanted to make people aware about Robert Quesnel and his wife lying to me and selling me an abused dog . A little over a month ago, we came across an ad Robert had posted on kijiji for a Boxer. Ad stated she was housebroken(not entirely), great with kids and up to date on shots but needed to go as the kids were back in school so they had no time for her. We came to see her one night, and made arrangements to come back the next day for pick up. As we are getting ready to load her in and take off, suddenly shes no longer up to date on her shots and hasnt received any this year. Even though we were lied to, we took her anyway, hoping to give her a good home as it was clear living where she was wasnt working for a dog her size. Since weve brought her home it has been nothing but hell. The first night here she took off on us, and took us over 2 hours to get her back, only after she attacked my husband and nearly caused the loss of his eyesight. Since that night, we have both been attacked numerous times, including just this morning where she bit my finger deep enough that I may need stitches(and a shot since she was not kept up to date as told). We fear getting attacked every time she goes out because when its time to come in, she suddenly turns vicious. This dog clearly has been abused; I noticed it, as well as my husband, as well as the countless helpful dog owners ive been so fortunate to have try and help catch this dog when she takes off on us. But no mention of that when we were buying her. Instead we were assured numerous times she is a great family dog and absolutely wonderful with kids. Thats only true if shes on her leash or in her cage. One of these horrible attacks could have been done to one of my kids and that really scares me. The fact that he, his wife, and both their teenagers(who are more than old enough to know better) had no qualms about selling a skittish, abused dog to a family with 3 young children is beyond disgusting. The fact they lied about pretty much everything about this dog, just to make the sale, even more so. Now I have to find a way to get rid of her and break my childrens hearts simply because she cannot be trusted. Be wary if he happens to post any animals for sale cause you can bet they were not properly cared for!
