I was a big fan of the Jim Henson Creature Shop challenge this spring and I really enjoyed meeting some of the monster/creature shop personnel as they were either mentors or judges. One of the judges is Kirk Thatcher who designed creatures for Dinosaurs and he has directed Muppet movies. Hes a funky guy wearing fun hats most of the time and always with a smile on his face. I found out yesterday while tweeting with him that he was in Star Trek: Voyage Home. HE was the obnoxious punk on the bus who we always said looked like Jimmy O! How funny is that!
