I was asked by my respectful lecturer, why you do not believe in evolution? (or in another word, why am I against Darwinism). After doing my readings on this issue, and a detail academical discussion with a friend of mine(PhD scholar in molecular medicine),I decided to combine all informations together and began writing email to my lecturer.Details are as follow; Dear Dr, The theory of Darwinism or known as theory of evolution has never fails to raise controversial issue especially in term of religious matter.Well of course as a non-atheist,I as a Muslim cannot deny religion does play crucial role in determining my view regarding this issue. You have asked me on why do I not believe in evolution and I mentioned about an article that claim Darwin lied in his research.I tried to find that article but somehow I couldn’t find it.Anyway,I read again the book(a part of it) “The origin of species” and few other readings. I noticed that, many scientists have agreed to affirm that this Darwinism is nonetheless only a theory, even Darwin himself in his book he stated that evolution is his theory, means it is not scientifically proven. In his book too he stated about “missing links” and how in future he was hoping to see a proof to prove this missing link to relate the evolution of human from an ape.He wrote about transitional species of ape+man but up to date, there are still no transitional species found on this which make I clearly believe that a man did not arise@evolved from ape.I would like to raise a question,if evolution really occur for mammals, why does it involve only human?why not dogs, cats as well? And I also read that this evolution theory about giraffe,on how they had short neck thousand years ago but they evolved to have long neck due to they had to eat leaves from tall trees, why only giraffe?Giraffe, and other herbivor animals at that time might eat the same leaves, why were they the only one evolved? Darwin also mentioned about how a single cell, evolved to become many specie, where he wrote that(if I’m not mistaken),in single cell it contain many genes and somehow it proliferates, differentiate to give rise to other specie,he definitely left a ‘hole’ there, where does the single cell comes from? How it was possible to evolve to give rise to human with 3000 genes? Anyway,I just want to clarify on why am I so against this theory of evolution because I did not explain it in appropriate way on that day. But to me,I still respect this great man and his great mind,if there was no him,we would not have thought about evolution, about how do man originally made. Thank you.
