I was having a political debate with a young man who stopped by to see about whether I was voting and if I knew where to vote at. We talked about the Democrats and the Republicans and I brought up my unhappiness of the two. I told him I was considering going an entirely different route and backing the independents.He said that if people were to do that then it would split the Democratic vote and the Republicans would win. I told him that its possible that not enough people have the information on the independents to make an informed decision and that its possible if more information was out there people might realize that they have a third choice. What he told me was that the independents would never win the presidency or have a lot of representation for state because of the people voting republican or democrat. Hes 21. Im 43. I really fear for the future of this country because some of these children just have it all wrong. Have any of you here considered that?
