I was humbled today thought about when i spoke to one of my police partners, and they told me i would teach in some capacity, even if not in the classroom. He told me you know im a marine and brother ive got you...I laughed. Today i stand after almost dying not once but twice back to back protecting other folks, with no accolades just a huge scar, but no limp. They were right the ancestors had other plans for me, getting to mentor youth the young bruthas and sistahs and fight for them and keep them out of these prisons, each one teach one reach one, it is beautiful seeing them realize what they can become. To my brothers,my bro in law rohan, my grandad mean red, my brother in law, my uncles you are the men i strive to be.my big sis Jen, and my mom are my conscious my heart, Malika and Aliyah i shout you out too im sure behind the scenes you was routing for me too. Anyway they never see me get emotional but seeing so called degenerates transition from thugs to future lawyers, doctors, musicians is dope. Any you know what its worth it. One of them was like im proud of you Bruh.. To my lil hommie who offerred to walk my mom to the bus when i was on crutches thank you It made her day. He seen me, to all my people who held me down thank you And to my east of river folks thank you.To all the sistahs who encourage bruthas daily you are appreciated, we love you, despite what the media shows; to all the strong bruthas doing the work you are appreciated, they love us recognize this.
