I was in line at 7-11 and this young black kid (male) was in front of me. He didnt have enough money to buy the chocolate milk and banana he wanted and was telling the clerk to put the milk back. Suddenly a white male stepped up from behind me and told the clerk that he would pay for everything. The young man thanked him and left the store. I managed to catch up to the man, shake his hand, and thank him before he left. He said that he was glad to do it and trys to look out for kids when he can. Couldnt help but think about that big mess over in Ferguson, Missouri. Wished they all could have been there to see that simple but very effective act of kindness. Satan uses race as often as he can to keep us separated. Over the years its proven to be his most effective tool. Each of us should at every opportunity do what we can to bridge that gap. It doesnt take much either. Just some chocolate milk and a banana :-)
