I was not able to get to the queen bee in that chimney the other day. I tried. I really did. But there were too many nooks and crannies in the brick and rock that she could escape into. I am not too proud to admit my limitations. Hopefully they will swarm to a new place in the next couple days. I had already ordered a queen intending to do a split from my hive, so I just put her with the bees and comb I removed from the chimney. I just finished up inspecting the new box they are in. And saw that blasted beetle that is the bain if my existence! But I also got to witness new bees emerging from their cells. I found myself humbled and frozen by one of Gods miracles. Hopefully more will emerge and conquer the beetle. I dont know. I am learning as I go here.
