I was wondering if the Future Party had any thoughts of critiquing the effectiveness of Federal policy by simulating (numerically or stochastically) the outcome of past policies and comparing actual/simulated outcomes against intended outcomes? (Eg, ROI of Pink Batts scheme; Renewable subsidy and growth of renewables usage as a percentage of total electrical generation etc?) I know much of politics is inured in rhetoric; perhaps the Future party can offer an alternative and gain more visibility if it reviewed or provided evidence-based analytical critique of what the Big Boys are doing? The findings may invite attacks but publicity is always good. Right?
