I wholeheartedly believe that a key component to a successful economy stems from determination and hard work. People who are motivated to develop new products, new technologies or become entrepreneurs are the backbone of our economy. Now more than ever we need American innovation, which is why we cannot suppress the technology developments created by the National Academy of Inventor’s from entering the market. I have introduced legislation that will allow Congress to recognize and merit the National Academy of Inventor’s productions that are capable of creating long term benefits in our society. While NAI has a nationwide network of charters that are hosted at many universities across America, the main headquarters is located here at home, at our very own University of South Florida. I will continue to work toward producing and passing legislation that will lead to a healthy economy in our district, and our nation.
