I will be spreading the word about this tomorrow at AHSs book club, but just so you all know: We will be having a peaceful student protest on January 13th. This is the date of the next School Board Meeting. We are asking that as many students as possible wear shirts with the words Freedom to Read written on them, and duct tape across their mouths to show how we are being silenced. According to the Code of Conduct, this will not violate any school rules, and therefore is safe for students to participate in without any worry of disciplinary action. Please tell as many people as possible. Additionally, we need to fill the January 13th board meeting with students. Mark your calendars!
