I wish I could say I was surprised. Unfortunately I cannot. My Senator, the AWESOME Senator from the Lone Star State Ted Cruz, put forth a bill to strip the citizenship from any American that joins ISIS. Common sense HELL YEAH bill, right? Apparently not. Because there isnt time left in the session to get the bill passed through committee, Cruz decided to seek unanimous consent to have it considered. No brainer, right? I mean after all, Dems put forth a similar bill a few years back to which Killary....um I mean Hillary commented, United States citizenship is a privilege, it is not a right. People who are serving foreign powers or in this case foreign terrorists are clearly in violation of that oath which they swore when they became citizens.’ The Expatriate Terrorist Act of 2014 is only a very modest change to current law. It’s one small step in a larger and necessary effort to refocus our ISIS strategy that I urge President Obama to consider immediately.” But of Democrats (you know...the ones who think an open border is a GREAT thing) dont care if these people come back to the US and continue their jihad here. Sen. Mazie Hirono, a Hawaii Democrat, stood to object on behalf of Dems, blocking the bill. Kerry seems to think its a good idea to LET them come back and then follow them around. Yeah, because SO many were blown away with the sharp attention to detail Holders crew showed when they were supposed to be following around the FF guns. This makes me absolutely sick. ~TEX~
