I would like everyone to take a minute to meet the newest addition to our rescue family. Her name is Camilla and she was found yesterday in one of our local shelters by our rescue coordinator. Although Camilla isnt what brought our rescue coordinator into this particular shelter, Camilla quickly stole her heart and mine as well! She was found shivering and shaking in fear, freezing, and depressed. As you can surely see Camilla has missed many meals and deprived of lots of love and attention. She is so weak from malnutrition she stumbles when she walks and falls over at the slightest movement. We begged the wonderful rescue coordinator to please let us have her even though she was not due out of the shelter yet BC we could see this sweet girl needed a trip to the vet as well as some good food! Camilla has seen the vet and is currently in a foster home. She is already stronger than she was yesterday and is starting to eat small frequents meals. Camilla is experiencing love and warm hugs for the first time in her little life. Once she is healthier she will go back to the vet for her big girl check up and vaccines and will be ready for adoption. Camilla weighs just under 3lbs and is one year old.
