I would like to point out the security risk at Somerset Mall. @ 14h10 today I stopped at McDonalds Somerset Mall as the car line was too busy and thought it would be quicker to walk in and grab a take away. When I came out, I had both my hands full. As I approached my car, 2 guys came walking towards me at top speed. I looked around and saw nobody else in the parking lot so I shouted at both of them to stop and not come any closer. They stopped briefly and then continued towards me and I then shouted at them to f$%k off (excuse my French)! Thats when they slowed down and gave me a quick gap to unlock my car and get inside. It all happened very quickly and I had to think on my feet. Drop the food and box with them or make it safe into my car and still have my meal and no knife wounds. I chose the latter. Yes, they were watching me when I stopped and I took no real notice. Yes they wanted to mug me. Yes they looked like they were on crack. Yes there was no security. I felt immediate danger when they were approaching me. All the little tell tale signs of a thug were evident in their characters. From now on, I will carry something for protection and I will never allow my mom or female friend/relative to go to the mall alone again. I am a guy and I am actually quite shaken up. I am sick of living like this. The poo has really hit the fan in this country!
