I would like to say thank you to the lady who took the trouble to stop and let me know that she saw our cat get hit by a car tonight and then saw him go through our side gate. He has hurt his paws and is licking his wounds but thankfully there is no serious harm done. However to the idiots who drive down Bateman Road as if its a racetrack THINK and give a cat a chance to cross the road. Tonight could have been a very different story for our family, especially for my 10 year old son who has been in tears tonight at the mere thought of what could have happened.
