I would like to thank everyone for participating in and extending their overwhelming support for the MATH OLYMPIAD 2014 that has concluded last Friday. The involvement of so many people in the 3-day long celebration gave MATH a platform to show that it can really be FUN and EXCITING for all! To my colleagues in the Math Department: Thank you very much for spending some extra hours in fulfilling your duties in your respective contests. I hope we could sustain that same energy when we hold next years edition. Its an honor to be working with all of you! =) To all my other colleagues in the other departments: Thank you very much for the support you have shown for the department in various capacities. Your faith provides great energy to continue on. My apologies for not being able to inform you about our shirt. But there will be a second wave of orders in preparation for the 2015 MTAP Math Challenge, so you can still place your orders. =) To all the SES students: Thank you very much for your participation! Were very glad that the representatives from each class had really worked hard to win their respective contests. To the winners in the different contests: I say CONGRATULATIONS to all of you! Keep up the good work! For those who were not able to bring home any medal: Always remember: Winning does not always matter; it is how you play the game that matters. Win or lose, the experience of competing will help you become better next time. =) To my student marshals: Thank you so much time for sacrificing your time to assist me and the other teachers in different contests! To our principal, Dr. Alarico Ramos: Thank you very much for gracing our program with your presence and support! Again, my deepest gratitude to everyone for making this years celebration a big success! I really appreciate it! There is great hope in improving our schools Mathematics achievement. So, let us sustain, if not improve further, this level of intensity in highlighting the potentials of our students in many years to come! KUDOS! =)
