IF WALLS COULD TALK! This is my grandmaw Forrester house that my grand paw Forrester built by him self it is about 106 years old its a 5 bedroom house with no indoor plumbing and still hasnt got it my uncle ray and aunt Carolina still live there today this picture was taken this morning when I went to check on them I do that about 3 times a week neither one has ever been married if you look behind the house on the hill thats where my grand paw Forrester made thousands of gallon of moon shine this is the house that all my family would gather every Sunday to eat those great Sunday dinners always 35 to 45 people every Sunday my grandmaw took me in to raise at the age of 13 because my family moved to elizabethton ten and I hated it so she took me in from here I had to walk about a mile just to catch the school bus we was the last house in the hollar our closest neighber was about half mile away my grannie raised 13 kids in this old house when her and my grand paw got married she was 12 and he was 39 she had all her kids in this house and raised me and a lot more in this old house every time I walk up on the porch memories start to flow all the stories that I have been sharing that you all like so much came from this old house well I just wanted to give you all a little visual from where I cams from hope you like this little post and thanks for all my friends on here thats been wanting to post more stories thanks for reading hope it brings back a few memories for someone
