IHRO demands immediate apology from UK PM for Thatcher for helping Indira Gandhi in Operation Bluestar Ludhiana, January 18, 2014: The International Human Rights Organisation (IHRO) is, by and large, now clear that there was a Indo-UK tie up in storming of the Golden Temple, Amritsar during 1984 Army attack, code named as Bluestar, at least principally, if declassification of confidential documents is any indication. While strongly condemning the unholy 1984 connivance, though remotely, in Indo-UK ties to attack the Vatican of the Sikhs at Amritsar, the IHRO chairperson DS Gill and its European Chapter president Manjit Singh Buttar JP demanded from the British Prime Minister David Cameron a categorical apology for this inhuman, dastardly act of his erstwhile government, then led by Margaret Thatcher. The undermining of the minority as Sikhs, they said in a statement here on Saturday, in the so-called Bluestar action, Nov’84 Sikh Genocide in Delhi and elsewhere in India encouraged other religionists to demolish Babri Masjid accompanied by 2001 Gujarat Muslim massacre which ultimately resulted indisturbing the peace, worldwide. Thus, the IHRO activists added, the British PM need to immediately do the sane act of unconditional apology so as to provide succor to the minorities as Sikhs who are living world widely.
