He started to bring agreement between the seventies and eighties, with his group, simply called Santana. Even then mixed with genres such as salsa, classic rock, blues and fusion. Then, as now used extensively Santana his guitar solos and also made use of more traditional instruments of his country. He later went on to experiment with this formula, including mixed success. During the nineties Santana risked the decline, averted from the album Supernatural in 1999. Thanks to this work, the most important success of his career, he made known his musical philosophy to new generations. He has sold more than 80 million albums [2] and is also considered one of the best rock guitarists in existence.
