IOC students aghast GK NEWS NETWORK Srinagar, June 17: Students at Islamia Oriental College (IOC) Rajouri Kadal here Monday held protest demanding registrationof the institute with Board of School Education. In a statement issued today they said the students were given admission in the institution 9th class onwards up to 12th standard. “But it is unfortunate that the authorities have failed to get the higher classes registered with the J&K Board of School Education till date,” they said. They said the administration of the college was paying no heed to their demand. “We also suffer during our studies for higher classes. Neither our examinations are held in time nor are our results declared in time,” they said. They said the result for the examinations conducted for undergraduate classes in January were yet to be declared. Editor Anjuman Nasratul Islam, Syed-ur-Rehman said the process for registration was going on. “It will take some time,” he said.
