IS ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR GOD? “All things are possible to him - TopicsExpress

IS ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR GOD? “All things are possible to him that beleiveth.” Matthew 9:23. The Bible is full of stories of God doing the impossible. o Three Hebrew children o Daniel in lions’ den o Sarah giving birth in old age o Woman with issue of blood I recently listened to a message by Br. Jeff Arnold. He had some powerful and impacting things to say on the subject of God doing things that were impossible to man. Expectation is the birthplace of the miraculous, he said. Vision is the womb of the mind; it births miracles was another statement that made me stop and think. I think we would all agree that the key to seeing the miraculous is faith. We cannot be deterred by the facts of the situation. Who would ever imagine that the Hebrew children would survive being thrown into the fiery furnace? Or that Sarah would have a baby at 90+ years old? God delights in doing things that don’t make sense to us. Doing what is humanly impossible is a demonstration of the might and power of our God. We cannot even begin to imagine the things that God wants to do through us and for us. Faith operates by our perception. Perception can take us along a pathway to the miraculous or it can keep us imprisoned in a dungeon of hopelessness. Our vision has to be what CAN BE, not what it SEEMS TO BE. Our perception can be changed by immersing ourselves in Gods Word and by spending time with Him in prayer. It will change us from an attitude of hopefulness to a state of expectation. The miraculous has little to do with our spiritual strength, but everything to do with our faith in HIS power and what He has promised in His Word. Romans 10:7 says it very simply, “Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” You don’t have to be strong, talented or accomplished for God to work through you or do a miracle in your life. Even your current condition doesnt matter. The Gadarene demoniac in Mark 5 ran toward Jesus. He was naked and out of his mind, but that didn’t seem to matter at all; he only knew he had a desperate need. Whatever your condition or situation, it doesn’t matter to the Lord. What matters is your need and your recognition of the fact that Jesus can help you. Bring your need to Him and expect Him to work it out. If you want or need something that seems impossible, please don’t let the failure of people (or even the church) frustrate your faith in God. Humans do their best, but God has all the power. Just a word from God and the universe was created. His touch restored Sarah to youthfulness and she bore a child. By His hand the mouths of the lions were shut. So dont you think He can do a miracle for you? Believe it and receive what seems impossible because His power is unlimited! For with God nothing shall be impossible. Luke 1:37
