“Ideal Place for Relaxing” Reviewed October 14, 2013 NEW I just came back from this little adobe. Let me elaborate the experiences I had there. I was referred there by one of my good friend when I asked him about a place in Dalhousie, but not much detail, just the name stuck in my mind, and I went to google the option. Initially I thought of staying in Dalhousie central Part itself (near Gandhi Chowk / Subhash Chowk), but later thought of giving a call to Dr. Bhalla after getting his number from website. He had asked for my e-mail id and sent a introductory letter to me promptly. I also questioned a few of the other hotel options, but no one replied quickly, so I decided to opt for this, which was a decision I shall remember for real good reason. I first intimated Dr. Bhalla that I shall reach there by evening on 11th Oct, but at last moment decided to reach there by 12 o’clock, and received a warm welcome (most cordial welcome I ever had vacationing, when we are not paying exorbitant price). We were shown a room which had a gala view of Dalhousie, and then joined Dr. Bhalla for a nice coffee on rooftop. They guided us for tour of Dalhousie as well. The dinner was awesome, so was the breakfast next morning (never thought of getting Prasada while on holiday). The night was even better, a grand Barbecue party, with dinner. One of the best evenings ever enjoyed. The best part of it, everybody staying in the accommodation eat together. Now for the ratings: Food: if I could rate it more than five star, I would have given it so. Location: Out of city area, free from pollution, grand view of Dalhousie from the room and from terrace, only flip-side is if you wish to see PirPanjal range in the morning (at time of rising sun), you can’t get it from the room, and must have a vehicle at your disposal and move to Gandhi chowk and find suitable place for the same, the total drive would be about 2 km. Rooms: Five Star, considering value for money, very earthy looking rooms with all amenities. Finally, I must say that whenever I visit Dalhousie next, I shall look whether there is room available here, and shall not miss a chance to meet them.
