If this is a disciplinary issue, then presumably the BUT is defending a teacher whom a school and/or the DoE are trying to hold accountable for some alleged infraction. It will be very interesting to learn whether or not this attempt to hold a teacher(s) accountable warrants disrupting the start of the school year for every single public school student. The BUT certainly does itself no favors by failing to publish what the disciplinary issue is. How is a parent/taxpayer supposed to support them when you dont know why they are taking industrial action at the start of the school year?
