If you can do anything, even a like and a share we can shape history. Women we are living history. Its true. By bringing forward the raising of our red tents we are giving a place in our culture to honor women in a visceral and meaningful way. For forty years our respected sister Max Dashu in her work of the Suppressed Histories Archives has been unearthing and bringing forward womens history. She does this with slides and talks that literally change the way you think of what women have contributed through time. Personally Ive wanted her slides, her work to be preserved and held by women worldwide so that we dont ever lose again what she has archived and now we have the chance together to secure the archives by going digital. In the next 18 hours we have an opportunity to be a part of our own history that says we value this. And I feel it is important to bring here to the attention of our Red Tent communities. Today if you can even put a hand on her back with $5 or $10 (or more) we say collectively that womens history matters a great deal and that this work must be protected. We dont have much time but we can go from 179 donators to 1,790 by taking a small action of YES! This is one of those no-brainers in terms of where to put our collective energies.
