David’s father served two tours of Vietnam as a helicopter pilot and tragically was killed in 1976 when David was just six years old. David has given Angels of Americas insight from the perspective of a child who lost his father and had to navigate childhood without him. He has helped us build our model to target the long term development of children who, like him, lost their hero when they were very young.
