If you have a child that is exhibiting unusual behavior such as writing bizarre evil stuff in a journal, making bizarre evil youtube videos, making bizzare evil social media posts please get your child diagnosed and treated immediately. If your child is showing any signs of any type of behavior that is abnormal and concerning at any age please get your child diagnosed and treated immediately. This instant action is going to prevent a lot of unnecessary deaths to other people. There is no excuse for any parent to recognize and observe early signs of potential mental illness behavior with their child and not do anything about it. Parental negligence with a child that potentially has a mental illness is not an option and it is a deadly move for other people. I’ve dealt with mental illness in my family half of my life with my younger brother and one of the things that I give my parents credit is that they had him diagnosed and treated early once they recognized there was something wrong with him at any early age. And ultimately I think it prevented harm to himself and to other people. My prayers go to the families of the young college kids that were gunned down at UCSB. Those deaths easily could have been prevented and that is the sad part about it.
