Position: UI / Visual Designer Location: Seattle Status: Freelance to Full Time Estimated Duration: Possible Full Time Starts: First of February Rate: Around $40 / HR or $80,000+ / YR DOE Job Description: Our growing startup client is in search of freelance UI / visual designer for an ongoing freelance role that could become a full-time direct hire for the right candidate. In this role you will be working on UI and visual design projects with the creative team. The projects are broken into 3 week sprints, then handed off to the next team. This role requires a strong visual design background and comfort with front-end coding (HTML and CSS). The ideal visual designer will have: - 5+ years of professional experience designing for consumer-facing interfaces across digital platforms - strong visual design experience with strong grasp of front-end and development capabilities - you are comfortable presenting designs, on-screen with code, or through interactive prototypes - portfolio demonstrating typography, composition, design styles, UI and attention to detail This is an onsite freelance opportunity in our clients Belltown office, which could turn in to a full-time direct role for the right candidate.
