If you raced BMX between 1978 and 1988 you know Doug Davis. He was the most dominant, winning guy in his class for a decade. He never turned pro, but that doesnt matter. He inspired lots of amateur kids to race BMX, which is the heart of the sport, and he dominated the classes he raced in. For these reasons, he should be included in the BMX Hall of Fame. If you have any doubt, please look up the records. He doesnt need averages to prove his dominance; just look at his wins and number 1 plates. Doug was the most serious, honest, dominant competitor in his class when he raced. If you have the time, please show some support for Doug in the 2015 Hall of Fame nominations. He is a great guy and a great ambassador for the BMX community.
