If you were to ask me what an ideal leader should - TopicsExpress

If you were to ask me what an ideal leader should entail.....policies would definately not be my answer. Dont get me wrong, they are part of the solution but never the solution. time and again we have voted in ceremoniously leaders with the best of policies to later make frantic trips to the witchdoctor to get the same people to develop a grass appetite , maybe thats a little overboard. ANYWAY my point is that leadership ought to be a calling, something natural deep inside you that does not require the fulfillment of certain conditions to be active. For instance, just the other day something interesting happened , true story, I was out at night having a good time with friends , getting in touch with my kidneys, nothing out of the ordinary but as we were heading out, I notice this girl who had her foot stuck in the gutter, my first reaction was inevitable, I gave it a hearty laugh but Nyaga Karanja was already helping her up without hesitation. That got me thinking and for a moment, I did feel like the lesser man. But I hope you get what am saying, Initiative . As for Ian Horsefield, up to date I have not met an individual who we may sit down and talk out our differences and achieve a satisfactory solution. We may both log heads over some issue, however deep BUT STILL, we will sit down and deal with it like men and come up with the best solution to fit us, take my word for it. Its the small things that really count and I think am beginning to understand that. This is just first hand evidence for those who may have doubts or need assurance, its your choice, be smart about it.
