If you were working class in the 80s you either hated Thatcher, and quite rightly so, or you were some poor deluded soul thinking her revolution was in both yours and the national interest. Well you can judge people by the company they keep and Thatcher counted some of the worlds worst, and most brutal dictators as her friends. She was evil - I have no doubt! The confusion of seemingly unconnected events - the wars - the financial crises - the coming to power of the dictators in south America and the growth of the private sector feeding on the fire sale of state industries seems overwhelming. But there is a connecting web that stitches them all together as the rich wage their war on the poor and dispossessed - with the tacit approval of those who think it will benefit them. Its all a part of the plan to share the wealth of the state with the rich 1% while the rest of us are fighting over the crumbs that are left. - Watch this and learn something of what I have come to believe - perhaps your eyes will be opened too.
