If your a small business owner please watch and share this video: In February of this year I done a talk to around 100 Start Up businesses in Scotland on how Facebook Ads simply do not work and why you need to be careful on giving up your credit card details to promote your business page within their ad platform. Separate to the security issue I experienced, heres a video further exposing why (promoted ads/pages) are targeted by FAKE accounts (via Facebooks very own AD platform). Ever wondered why your posts only reach a very small percentage of your followers? even when you paid to grow your following through Facebooks alleged legitimate Ad Platform?. Rather than me compose an exhaustive post containing techy jargon here is a video further explaining how the Facebook AD platform is a complete waste of money and open to direct manipulation. The more engagement a post on your business page gets, the more Facebook shows it, subject to its algorithm right?. But if 80% of the friends on your business page are (inactive ghost accounts) even though you paid Facebook to promote your page to individuals who you believed to be interested in your product/service youll fast discover that Its not only your time that is being wasted marketing on Facebook, but your hard earned cash. Why does Facebook do nothing about it? would you turn off millions per day in revenue? My advice is stick to Google adwords - Yes, its far more complicated but youll be guaranteed a return if you take the time to learn it and their click analytics are forensically detailed unlike Facebook. Im probably risking my Facebook account telling you this, but lets face it, I value sharing this information with you more than I do my Facebook account so what the hell.
