Im amazed when I watch people work on a problem collectively. The group just stands there wondering what to do while an individual does it himself. I think it is good to let people solve their own problems. A collective is such an incompetent problem solver. Just look at our nation today...everyone complaining about everything waiting for the collective to come along and drop a wad of money (that is usually never enough). But the collective never fixes the problem; they just pass the collection basket and expect that everyone will feel guilty for not doing something and drop a penny. I say, just leave people alone and theyll solve their problems with good old hard work. Thats the problem with collectivism. They assume that a problem will never be fixed unless the collection basket is passed and a whole wad of money is built up. But problems exist over time; they are not isolated emergencies that have to be solved immediately or else the world will fall apart. While the collection basket is being passed around and nothing is being done, the individual will look at it, think on it, come up with a solution and then just fix it himself. Individual action is always superior to collective action...but the practitioners of collectivism will never get it. They think they are smarter than everyone else and have no problem expressing frustration and moral outrage over the unwillingness of people to contribute while the individual is over there solving the problem.
