Im from Petron just nw and the dude who looks like Jamal Abdillah at the counter of the mini mart asked this question; Are you a foreigner? jst aftr i said, Terima kasih.hope he was kidding. My tourism mngmnt lecturer;happens to b an Egyptian asked the same question on past thursday.there was also once when a foreigner at UM wished me Assalamualaikum and shaked my hands. i told him that im a non-muslim and he rplied, Sorry fr tht.I tght v r frm sme cntry. I asked which one? he rplied,Bangladesh. And a nmber of Malaysian dudes n dudettes tght im a mamak(an indian who is a muslim) literally since i usually cnvrse in penang and ngri smbilans dialect malay.some even said tht I do look like one. no prominent pure indian look. n some even said i look like a perv... :( #seriouslyawkward
