Im gonna say something for all of us again, from the heart. We in rescue work a crappy job, some more than others. We all balance our work, family, rescue almost as well as our personal finances. With that being said there comes a time we ALL get to the end of our rope when we cant take it anymore. Suicide is NEVER an option. You will never know the pain you leave behind, you will never know if the next day things will clear up, or a new opportunity will open. If you feel like you are in crisis please call a friend, family, priest or pastor, or if you wish to remain anonymous 1-800-273-TALK (8255) Personally you would have to kill my ass, I will fight for every breath till the end, I will not give up fighting till they put me into the ground, I think killing yourself is a cop out, a permanent solution to a temporary situation. I dont know what demons drove Robin Williams to take his own life, it might stem back to when his good friend John Belushi overdosed and he went cold turkey but we have all lost friends and loved ones. Dont make your friends and acquaintances open face book to see you gone, fight the good fight every minute of every day. And if it takes forever? Die trying.
