Im reminded this morning of the only way that the GOP can hold the senate seat if Thad is the nominee. Everyone knows that Thad will not serve more than a year or two if he were to win. We also know that tens of thousands of Chris McDaniel have too much principle to reward all of this horrible campaigning by voting giving their vote to the Thad machine. If Phil and Thad would campaign openly and honestly that Thad will serve 2 years and then Phil will appoint Chris, then there would be a good chance of unity. That is the only solution I see.
