Im sitting here this afternoon fighting a bit of depression. Our long awaited and highly anticipated summer ending 2 week vacation bash to the Outer Banks is over the start of school is now coming quickly. I spent a lot of money and gained way too much weight but it was a great vacation. One major help with the depression is the thought that as fall rolls around the crab leg smell will leave my fingers, my beach tan will fade, and I will eventually find all of the sand hidden in the various crevises of my body but I will still have a mind full of cherished memories of an wonderful family vacation made extra special by two 10 and 8 year old grandsons who enjoy the excitement of exploring the islands and playing in the ocean.
