Im so very grateful for the opportunity to serve another term as your representative in Congress. Thank you for the honor I have to work for you. As you know, last nights election was historic. Republicans won a significant majority in the U.S. Senate, greater than some of the most optimistic predictions. I believe that this new Republican majority in the House & Senate need to return us to responsible governing to get positive results. We have work to do getting this country back on track, and the time to start is now. Over the past two years, my colleagues and I in the House have worked to pass dozens of commonsense bills only to see them die in a gridlocked Senate. Now, we have an opportunity to send those bills to President Obama and put the onus for progress on him. The time for Harry Reids politics is over. Elected leaders must return to Washington ready to listen to the people, uphold the Constitution, and govern responsibly. I will strive to do just that as your representative.
