Im thankful for my job! Not just my career (which I love) but my job at Keokuk Area Hospital! Im thankful for the amazing hard working people I have the pleasure of working with. Our housekeepers work tirelessly to keep our hospital clean and sanitary! Our maintenance staff continually monitor conditions of our building and equipment so we can provide the best care we are capable of! Our dietary department is knowledgeable about special dietary needs and provide nutritious choices to meet everyones needs! Our supply staff take time every single day to check inventory and stock every department so we have the items we need to meet your needs! Our radiology and cardiopulmonary staff go above and beyond to provide complete quality care as a vital part of the team! Our office personnel and billing department strive to know and understand the complicated and ever changing medical industry so we can remain a viable source of healthcare in Keokuk! I havent even mentioned the nurses or doctors who skip breaks and put off going to the bathroom because our patient needs take priority over our own needs! Im proud to be a part of the KAH family and proudly welcome my daughter to that family as she begins working at the switchboard! Im beyond thankful that KAH has been there for my children and grandchildren as well as numerous loved ones! This community is blessed because KAH employs many of its members now and has in the past as my mother was once a KAH employee! I look forward to the future of KAH with excitement!
