Im thankful that we were blessed to have another Thanksgiving Holiday at My Moms house, and she still is able to cook the turkey. Although she didnt fix her famous Italian Cream Cake, the turkey was the juciest. At almost 91 in 6 days, she still sets her table with her china and everything has to be just so to her liking. I wouldnt want it any other way. We had a blessed time. Shamieka Ross had to make the dressing this year, under supervision ofcourse for the first time, and thats another story all in itself, but dang she she did an awesome job ! But her Collards was on Point I tell ya !It was the bomb. Makayah made her first 7 up pound cake, and it melts in your mouth ! I just kind of supervised this year, because after all one day, I will be sitting waiting on dinner, and I have to know, I will have an enjoyable, delicious meal right? So teach them now !!! Theyre not quite ready for the giblet gravy, but we will work on that Christmas Dinner. Donte Ross has got to get the knives sharpened, because it was taking quite a while to carve that turky lol, but was done quite well this year. That is about it. Terri Irby-Davis and Tresjon added the topping to the day, by visiting with us down at Moms. Thanks, she really enjoyed you buys coming by.
