Im thinking of starting masters. Hindrance: my average when I graduated. I cant get into UPOUs MIS program because of that (tsk tsk I should have studied harder in college), unless I find a university (DE) that is willing to accept my GPA and offers Distant Learning, and of course affordable. How about Cisco network training? Hindrance: I am on shift schedule. All of the training centers here offer a batch-type of training classes. I already finished my CCNA training 2 years back. I didnt take the exams yet. I dont believe in BRAIN DUMPS! I just need to refresh what I learned. How about IBM Mainframe trainings? Hindrance: TOO EXPENSIVE (I remember seeing one important training for system operators that cost as high as half million pesos)! Ill just wait for my turn from my employers to give me a chance to be in their training list... for mainframes. How about starting a personal project on web development? Suddenly I felt interested when my brother in Manila started asking me about HTML, MySQL, PHP etc etc which I have enjoyed coding and combining them when I was in college. But that was old school. How about that? When there was no facebook that time, I took the idea from Friendster and BlogSpot combined. I was just short of some features, but it was working though. I should have pursued it. Come on, flood me the ideas! Oh by the way, Im thinking of a business, not now, but in the future, that would be the second source of income for my family. Am done spending, so Id like to invest now. Something solid. Something strong. An idea that will never go down.
