Im very excited to finally be able to announce our new tournament system at Hotsaucegames Chicago - Irving. Its something Ive been working on for a few months now. We are introducing the Hotsaucegames Invitationals! Over the course of the new year all of our Yugioh events will be giving out a number of points to the players that enter based on standings and event type. Meaning that youll receive more points for a larger scale event vs. a typical local level event. These points will be used to qualify you for our Invitational Championship event. For this up coming year we plan to host 2 Invitational Championship events (one around June and another sometime next December/January) with the hope that the number can grow in the future. These Invitational Championships will be will be $5,000 electronics prized event and will be COMPLETELY FREE!! Thats right these event are free and all you need to do is qualify for them. How do you qualify? There will be 2 separate means of qualifying for this event. The first is by topping any of our $1,000 level events (our case release events or our electronics event). The second and most likely way for qualifying is through our points system. Starting January 1st all of our Yugioh events will be giving points for the best finishers at each and every event. Points will be determined by event type and by number of participants. This helps regulate the flow of points so as not to flood the system on our first try at this. Example: Our Monday free events will only give 1 point to all players that finish 4-0. While our Wednesday event will give 3 points to 1st and 1 to 2nd if the turnout is any number from 16 or less. Should Wednesday break 16 players the points increase to 5 for 1st, 3 to 2nd, and 1 to 3rd and 4th respectively. I will soon be posting all of the season 1 event that will lead up to our 1st Invitational Championship event in June. So please like Hotsaucegames so you can be up to date on all of these events.
