Important Election Information For Claremont Residents UPCOMING PRIMARY ELECTION INFORMATION SEPTEMBER 9, 2014 Absentee ballots are now available in the City Clerk’s Office. August 29th (Friday) - Last day to register to vote in the City Clerk’s Office during normal business hours. September 2nd (Tuesday) 7-7:30pm – Supervisor of the Checklist Session at City Hall – Last day to register to vote and make any changes prior to the State Primary Election September 8th (Monday) – Last day to apply for and return Absentee Ballots in person September 9th (Tuesday) – State Primary polls are open 8:00am-7:00pm. Also the last day to accept Absentee Ballots returned by mail.
