In 1986, a former girlfriend of mine dragged me down to Liberty Lunch in Austin, telling me that I just HAD to check out this new Austin band. We went in and were treated to a sound unlike anything I had ever heard. As soon as they played this song I knew it would be big, and I said as much to my girlfriend that night. A year later, Timbuk3 took the United States by storm and this song was a hit. Every time I hear it Im taken back to that girl and that time, which seems so innocent to me now.
