In Raajje oftentimes parents tell young children that if they dont eat, shower, brush their teeth, etc... something or someone bad will come to get them, and take them away to a bad place. This practice/culture instills fear into innocent and impressionable minds at an early age. Making children fearful of the dark, of dark forces who might kidnap them... which builds insecurities and adds darkness & evil forces into their active imaginations. This practice/culture is something that needs to stop. It has detrimental effects on the growing mind. Fear & insecurities of being sent away to evil places is NOT something that the childs impressionable brain needs. It stunts the mind from growing to become healthy, inquisitive and feeling loved. Parents and others should not instill fear into vulnerable, innocent and growing minds. Children need to be children... free and open minded... loving, laughing, exploring and being inquisitive. No room for fear!
