In Thailand today defamation charges against British human rights activist Andy Hall were dismissed due to unlawful interrogation practice. However, Hall is still set to stand trial in a civil defamation case that begins Oct. 30 at Nakhon Pathom Court. A third trial addressing alleged violations of Thailand’s Computer Crimes Act is set for Nov. 17, and another civil suit hasn’t yet been scheduled.
