In a 2008 war game studied by the Rand corporation, F-35 JSFs, F-22s and F-18 Super Hornets were pitted against modern Russian built Sukhoi fighters. In an email from Peter Goon to Dr. Steve Gumley, he said Red force (Sukhois) dominated the exercize going up against two versions of Blue force, both of which were roundly defeated. One way the Red force summation of events has been described is that it was like clubbing baby seals. Lockheed Martin: not only do they suck the life out of the taxpayer with crummy frontloaded and expensive pork projects.... But they just suck, and theyre harming the people they claim to help.
